Today I wanted to promote our Summer Reading program - the theme is Ready, Set, Read!

Down on the corner at the sporting goods store
was a baseball hat and not one more
Along came someone with a nickle to pay
and they bought that hat and they took it away.
Bat, mitt, jersey, and baseball
I handed out felt nickles and had the kids come up and put their nickle on the flannel board. Each kid got a chance.They loved it!
