End of the ELS season blow out! Food with toddlers

Today was a little tough because my co-worker called out sick and my sub didn't arrive until 10 when Toddlers started. I was a little frazzled but it went well.

I gave the kids a piece of fruit (paper) and they brought them up to the flannel board. Quite a few blank stares and one kid would refused to come up with his orange. But mostly liked.

Parachute!
They loved it of course. I did these things:
Row Row Row your boat
Itsy bitsy spider
Popcorn
Ring around the rosy..the kids sat on the chute and the parents walked around.

Good ending for the session. 1 month off...they weren't happy about it.

Cats at Toddler storytime

This is a favorite of mine. Since we were off for 2 weeks due to our air conditioning going on the blink I needed to do one I would have fun with.

I had a small group but they seemed to enjoy themselves. One girl and her grandmother really liked learning the signs.
