I thought I would try a Flannel Friday post.
This is the flannel story I made for Sandra Boynton's
Moo, Baa, La La La
I used clipart for the pics.
Here is the text:
A cow says moo.
A sheep says baa.
Three pigs say la, la, la!
“No, no,” you say, “that’s isn’t right!
Pigs say oink, all day and night.”
Little dogs say ruff, ruff, ruff.
Other dogs say bow, wow, wow.
And cats and kittens say meow.
Quack! Says the duck.
A horse says neigh.
(It’s quiet now, what do you say?”)
Terrific post! I love using clipart and my trusty little laminator for storytime sets! Welcome to the Flannel Friday roundup!
ReplyDeleteGreat Flannel Friday post! Thanks for sharing it with us. Welcome to the FF crew!
ReplyDeleteNo shame in using Clipart - it can be a lifesaver! I'm always looking for books to make into a flannel story and this is a perfect suggestion.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites. I never thought of making it a flannel! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to storytime blogland! Hope you'll keep contributing to Flannel Friday!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh, why had I not thought of this? I will definitely put one together for our storytime collection! I was flipping through the board book the other day lamenting how tiny it was that I couldn't share it easily with the toddler group. Thank you for the inspiration!
