- I said it was so they would come to my acoustic sing but really one kid came in at the end of    Gotta   Rain so I thought she should get a chance. I didn't want to go to long so just did one verse.

- Rainbow Stew - I didn't get it ready in advance and was a little discomboobalated but is went okay.

A good group and fun books. Can't do more than 2, one would have been fine.

Toddlers - Shoes and Socks

Much smaller group today. Kinda a relief.

One Two That's my shoe by Murray
 - this book is very short and just a few words. Perfect for this group of under 2s.

Pete the Cat I love my White Shoes by Litwin and Dean
-The music kept their interest but there was little interaction with the book.

Hands are for clapping - I think this one will work well after the first story so they don't get up and jumping right away. I think I will keep it.

Flannel:
Socks in the washer. I kept one of each pair and had them pull a sock out of the box (washer). Then they were supposed to match them to the sock on the flannel board. Some got it pretty well, others clueless. Used up a lot of time, so it was good.

Had another book I wanted to use but didn't have attention - One shoe Two Shoes by Hart

Did signs for socks and shoes.

This one went pretty well. I had a large crowd for us. (21 kids). The kids are skewing very young at the moment. Most are under 2 so more than 2 books doesn't work. An interactive book works best.

This was our first day back after a month off.
I like to do colors for the first one because it is a favorite.
